Hardscapes: Paver Patios, Walkways & Fire Pits

Patios, walkways, fire pits, and walls, for homes and businesses around West Salem and across Wayne, Ashland, and Medina counties.

What we do

Hardscapes

Stone and paver work that holds up to Ohio winters: walkways that stay level, patios that drain, and walls that don't lean. Everything is set on a compacted base with proper edging so it looks the same in five years as it does on day one.

Questions

Hardscapes questions

Straight answers to what customers ask before they book.

What hardscaping do you install?

Paver walkways and patios, stone and block fire pits, retaining walls and raised planter walls, steps and borders, and low-voltage landscape lighting. Most projects combine two or three of these, such as a paver walk with a lit bed on each side.

Will a paver patio hold up through Ohio winters?

Yes, when it is built on a properly compacted gravel base with edge restraints and polymeric sand in the joints. That is how every patio and walkway we install is built, so freeze and thaw cycles do not heave or shift the pavers.

How long does a paver walkway or patio take?

A typical walkway takes one to three days. A patio with a fire pit or wall usually takes about a week, depending on size and access. We give you a schedule with the quote.

Do you do landscape lighting?

Yes. We install low-voltage path lights, up-lights, and step lights along walkways, beds, and patios, often as part of a hardscape job.
